Über-couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have [1] just gotten engaged.
Stars of Mani Ratnam’s latest film [2] Guru, the pair spent this past weekend in [3] Toronto and [4] New York City.
Their engagement—a quiet ceremony [5] held at the Bachchan residence today—comes after many months of [6] speculation that the two were indeed an item. Abishek [7] proposed in New York, after the film premiered in Times Square Friday night. Rai accepted immediately.
No wedding date has been set as yet.
