His pronunciation is so bad. It hurts my ears.

You’d think someone would have walked him through the pronunciations beforehand.
i thought so too (about his pronounciation) but then someone else brought up that he’s probably doing it on purpose - kind of caricaturing news anchors always butchering any name that isn’t bob or susie, ya know? it makes sense if you think of it that way.
good point, maya. that would explain why his pronounciation didn’t improve from one show to the next.
