Roobaroo-ing All the Way to London
Rang De Basanti gets BAFTA nod.
By Hilal Nakiboglu Isler, January 12, 2007, Film, Media, Daily, Arts

[1] Rang De Basanti, last year’s blockbuster, has received a BAFTA [2] nomination for [3] Best Non-English Film. The [4] BAFTAs, to be held next month in London, are often regarded as the “British Oscars.”
RDB, starring the talented [5] Aamir Khan, is up against Pedro Almodovar’s [6] Volver (magic!) and [7] Apocalypto (um, Mel Gibson).
The film is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash [8] Mehra and has grossed just under[9] $9 million at box offices worldwide.
I thought the movie was *enh* but what do you think? Does it have a chance of winning?
