Elizabeth Hurley’s wedding photos have just been released by Hello! magazine.

“Elizabeth looks beautiful as an Indian bride,” says husband Arun Nayar. “She is determined to really embrace Indian culture and she’s got off to a flying start.”

Hurley’s (hot pink!) couture wedding sari was designed by Donatella Versace. The couple tied the knot in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony on March 9th.

Check out this week’s People magazine issue for reprints of the wedding photos.

Holy Versace Sari! Although that wedding sari is absolutely fabulous, I wonder why Liz just didn’t go with a top Indian designer instead of turning to Donatella. I know Donatella made her white dress for the Anglican wedding… maybe that had something to do with it? Hmm.

i know! at first i thought the reporters were getting it wrong. but then i read hurley being quoted as saying this:

“brides wear red or pink in India, and donatella and i took ages choosing the exact shade of pink we wanted.”

hmm. can we expect a sari-line from donatella soon then?
