On Saturday, May 26, Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square will welcome Canada’s finest desi artists in celebration of South Asian Heritage Month.

The RBC desiFEST is free and open to the public.

Headliners include JOSH, award-winning indie rockers Zameer, and fave Deesha. The event will feature brazilliant tabla phenom Trichi Sankaran, katak master Monika Monga, and DJ Baba Khan.

Go for the performances, stay for the (free!) cooking demos, dance and music workshops.

    Hilal,

Thanks for the tip! Toronto already has a vibrant South Asian scene with the Hot n’Spicy Food Festival and the Mehndi! Masti! Masala arts festival. this will be a great addition. I will try and check this out and update Nirali readers…
